Hole 1

Picture
With o/b left and a stream running down the right hand side of the hole. Hitting this fairway can be vital to having a genuine chance of getting to the green in regulation. When playing to the green, aim to keep the ball below the hole to save a treacherous putt coming down the green.

Pro tip. Play the hole as a par 5.
Taking a 5 will not lose many shots to the rest of the field
here!

Hole 2

Picture
The best shot to play to this green is just right of centre as the deceiving contours will take your ball off the left hand side of this green.

Pro tip. Always take 1 club less than you think. Take the majority of trouble out of the hole by playing to the front or just short of the green.

Hole 3

Picture
Aim to play your tee shot to the left hand side of the fairway, to leave a clearer view of the green. When playing to this 2 tier green, being on the correct level can be crucial to saving yourself from being in the dreaded "3 putt territory".

Pro tip. Make sure you do not play too far
right off the tee. In doing this you will be blocked out by the big tree.

Hole 4

Picture
Aim to leave your tee shot on the left hand side of this fairway. Play to the centre of this green. Missing left, right or long will leave a very tricky up and down
save.

Pro tip. Do not go right off this tee. This can lead to a near impossible shot to the green.  If you are a long hitter, beware of the bunkers in front of the green.

Hole 5

Picture
For the majority of players this will be a 3 shot hole to the green.  Off the tee aim to be on the right hand side of the fairway. Your next shot will be a decision, whether to go for the green or to lay up. If laying up, with your 3rd shot, aim to be on the right level on this 2 tier green to give yourself a chance of a par or safe 2 putt 5. For the longer hitter center of this green in 2 is a great achievement.

Pro tip. Toughest hole on the
course. Do not take on too much. A 5 or better on this hole equals a happy
golfer.

Hole 6

Picture
Off the tee aim to be between the 2 big trees which are roughly 100 yards from the green. From there centre of the green will take out of play any run offs that
occur from this elevated green.

Pro tip. The ball especially in drier conditions will run a long way down this hole, so be careful off this tee to not over club which could result in you ending up in the bunkers short of the green.

Hole 7

Picture
Aim to play to the left hand side of the fairway for this dog leg left hole.

Playing to the green aim to be short of the pin to leave a much easier uphill putt.

Pro tip. Off the tee keep as tight to the left hand side of the fairway to save being blocked out by the tree situated short right of the green.

Hole 8

Picture
Play to the left of the bunker which you can see in front of you of the tee. Then aim to lay up short of the bunker on the right hand side of the fairway. When playing to this green aim to land the ball as near to the front of the green as you can as this upturn saucer shape green can be tricky to hold.

Pro tip. Making sure your second shot finds the fairway makes your third shot to the green a lot more comfortable knowing you need to get over the
hazard right in front of the green.

Hole 9

Picture
Play to land your tee shot right of centre. This will leave an approach shot straight up the green.

Pro tip. When playing to this green aim left of the pin as the ball does filter to the right a lot here.

Hole 10

Picture
Big dog leg right. Aim to be just past the small tree you see off the tee in the
middle of the fairway. From there the further down towards the green you can get the better. This will leave you with a much easier shot into this green.

Pro tip. Your safe shot when playing to the green is to the right hand side as the ball tends to kick back in nicely from there.

Hole 11

Picture
Off the tee aim to be on the right hand side but at the same time being careful of the o/b. When playing to the green be careful of the bunkers unsighted short of the green.

Pro tip. This hole which to a lot of people may look nothing can in an instant ruin your card. Your safest club in the bag should be used off this tee.

Hole 12

Picture
Again aim to favour the right hand side of this fairway off this tee. When playing to this green there is a big swale to the right of this green so aim to play to the
centre or left of it to take it out of play.

Pro tip. Going too far right or long when playing to this green can prove to be fatal. Be safe, play left.

Hole 13

Picture
This hole requires a good shot if you are going to find the putting surface off the tee. Playing one club more than you think is always the thing to do here.

Pro tip. Play long! Coming up short here can lead to big numbers!

Hole 14

Picture
When playing this hole play to the right of this green being careful of the bunker and let the contours of the hole bring your ball back onto the green.

Pro tip. Try not to miss this green left, this will lead to a very tricky up and down save.

Hole 15

Picture
Now a par 4, Off the tee aim to be short of the ditches that run across this undulating fairway. It is advisable to lay up short of the gorse bushes. When playing to the green aim to carry your ball all the way to it. Landing slightly short can lead to catching the downslope and shooting off the other side of the green.

Pro tip. When playing the 10th have a look over the valley to see where this pin is. This is a very long green and knowing how far up the pin is will help.

Hole 16

Picture
Play to the left of this fairway and the lay out of this fairway will bring the ball back into the middle or right hand side. There is a hazard all the way on the right hand side. Playing to this green left of the pin is always the shot.

Pro tip.  Stay left. Missing right anywhere on this hole can lead to trouble.

Hole 17

Picture
Again aim to be left off the tee as this fairway slopes sharply from left to right. When playing to the green again aim to be left of the pin as there is a big swale that runs off to the right hand side.

Pro tip. When this pin is on the right edge do not attack it! Play to the middle and take two putts.

Hole 18

Picture
Tough straight up the hill par 3. The best line to this green is straight over the middle of the bunker right in front of you.

Pro tip. When the wind is against on this one, it is hard to feel it because you are down in the valley, but do not hesitate in taking at least two extra clubs.
